Ruth Levine
In January, 2006, after having just completed a master's in occupational therapy, Ruth Levine was diagosed with stage IV colorectal cancer. Along with conventional treatment, she utilitzed exercise, nutrition, laughter therapy, imagery and reiki to overcome it. This is her story of the journey.
Ruth now works as an occupational therapist in sub-acute rehabilitation. She lives in Morganville, New Jersey, with her husband, Mike, their two children, Zack and Lia, and their cat, Foxy, whom they rescued from the wilds of suburbia. Her interests include reading, health and wellness, maintaining a total healthy lifestyle, and educating people on the importance of doing so.
